HOW YOUR PAYMENT IS PROCESSED
When you check out on bornforthis.shop, your payment card details are collected and processed directly by our certified payment processors. Your full card number is never received by, transmitted through, or stored on Born For This™ systems.
* Our storefront runs on BigCommerce, a certified PCI DSS Level 1 platform.
* Card payments are processed by certified PCI DSS Level 1 payment providers (including Stripe and PayPal).
* All payment pages and transactions are encrypted in transit using TLS (HTTPS).
* Card entry occurs in secure fields hosted by the payment provider — not by our servers.
WHAT WE NEVER STORE
It is strictly prohibited, under this Statement and under PCI DSS, for Born For This™ or its personnel to store:
* The full contents of a payment card's magnetic stripe or chip data, in any form;
* The card verification code (the 3–4 digit CVV2/CVC2/CID number), in any form;
* Any PIN or encrypted PIN block, under any circumstance;
* The full Primary Account Number (PAN) — where a card reference is displayed at all, it is masked to at most the first six and last four digits.
ACCESS & ACCOUNTABILITY
Access to sensitive customer and transaction information is restricted to personnel with a legitimate business need, protected by unique accounts and secure passwords, and reviewed as roles change. Our team is trained to handle customer data with the same care we put into every capsule we release.
INCIDENT RESPONSE
If we identify or are notified of a security incident affecting payment data, we act without delay: containing the issue, working with our payment providers and platform, notifying affected customers, and cooperating with card brands and authorities as required by applicable law.
YOUR PART
Keep your account credentials secure, and be cautious of emails or messages claiming to be from Born For This™ that ask for card details — we will never ask for your full card number, CVV, or password by email, text, or social media.
