On June 8, 2026, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Sarangani Province — devastating General Santos City and communities across Mindanao. Many dead and injured. Families displaced. Aftershocks still coming.
GenSan is home to Manny Pacquiao. The fighter who carried the Philippines on his back for decades. The kid from nothing who became everything. His hometown is hurting — and the same country that stood behind him through every walkout, every twelve rounds, every miracle, is the country that needs us now.
